The first-ever “TERRA BH 2025 Soil & Forest” expert conference was successfully held in Konjic, bringing together specialists, institutional representatives, NGOs, and private sector stakeholders to discuss the sustainable management and protection of soil and forest ecosystems in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The event was organized by the Federal Agropedological Institute and Šumarstvo Prenj d.d. Konjic, with strong support from local authorities and partners.
The conference served as a dedicated platform for exchanging knowledge, sharing best practices, and exploring strategic solutions to long-term soil degradation, biodiversity loss, and forest protection challenges. Sessions included expert panels and discussions aimed at shaping future initiatives, project ideas, and joint strategies that contribute to sustainable resource management across the region. Remote Ltd participated as a technical provider alongside partners, contributing to the design, preparation, and technical support of the conference agenda, data frameworks, and expert materials presented during the event. Our involvement reflected a commitment to advancing integrated digital and scientific approaches in the protection and management of natural resources. Participants emphasized the importance of linking soil and forestry topics at a systemic level and highlighted the need for continued collaboration between scientific institutions, government bodies, and civil society to ensure healthy soil and forest systems for future generations. The TERRA BH conference marked a significant milestone in fostering dialogue and cooperation on environmental stewardship in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with plans to further develop the platform as a recurring forum for knowledge exchange and policy leadership in soil and forest sustainability.
