The SMART STEP Energy Transition Fair 2026 was held at the University of Tuzla Campus, marking the official opening of the newly established Energy Transition Centre and the renovated laboratory complex of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Tuzla.

During the event, the Remote team presented a demo version of the Energy Transition Calculator for SMEs. The application enables companies to assess their energy consumption, receive an A–G energy-efficiency classification, and identify opportunities to reduce costs and CO₂ emissions.

Remote also presented the new Energy Transition Centre website, which was designed and developed by our team to provide companies and other stakeholders with clear access to information about the Centre, its services, activities and available support.

The event and establishment of the Centre were delivered as part of the SMART STEP project, co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A IPA Croatia–Bosnia and Herzegovina–Montenegro Programme 2021–2027.
