Remote Ltd proudly participated in the 3rd International Scientific and Professional Conference “Tourism, Sport and Youth”, organized by FINRA University in Tuzla. The conference brought together researchers, tourism professionals, public institutions, and industry experts from across the region to discuss the future of tourism, sports management, and digital innovation. More than 200 authors and co-authors from eight countries contributed to the event, highlighting the growing importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in destination development.
As part of the conference’s plenary programme, Kemal Hodžić, representing Remote Ltd, delivered a keynote presentation showcasing the VISITTK mobile tourism application—an innovative digital platform developed to support destination management and improve the overall visitor experience. The presentation demonstrated how modern digital technologies can connect tourism stakeholders, provide visitors with relevant destination information, and create more efficient communication between tourists and destination managers.
The presentation directly supported one of the conference’s central themes: “Digital solutions enable more efficient destination management and improve the user experience.” Through the VISITTK platform, Remote Ltd illustrated how mobile technologies, geospatial services, interactive content, and smart tourism tools can contribute to more sustainable, data-driven destination management. The application represents a practical example of how digital transformation can strengthen tourism competitiveness while providing visitors with intuitive, personalized, and accessible travel experiences. The conference concluded that digital transformation has become one of the key drivers of modern tourism development, emphasizing the growing role of digital platforms, data analytics, and smart technologies in strategic decision-making and destination promotion.
