At its October session, the Municipal Council of Vogošća officially adopted the Tourism Action Plan for the period 2023–2027, marking a significant milestone in the structured development of tourism within the municipality. The document was approved by majority vote, confirming institutional commitment to strengthening Vogošća’s position as an emerging and competitive tourism destination.

The Tourism Action Plan was developed with the objective of strategically guiding the overall tourism development of the local community. It defines priority projects of strategic importance, establishes clear implementation timelines, and outlines financing mechanisms that combine municipal budget allocations with additional external funding sources. The Action Plan serves as the operational core of the document, translating long-term development goals into concrete, measurable initiatives. The Plan underwent a formal public consultation process from 8 August to 10 September 2023. Following the public review procedure, no objections or suggestions were submitted, confirming broad alignment and acceptance within the community. The final document was accompanied by a report summarizing the results of the public consultation process.

The adopted Plan places strong emphasis on diversified tourism offerings, including sports and recreational tourism—particularly cycling—fishing and hunting tourism, rural tourism, ecotourism, and cultural-historical tourism. By combining natural assets, local traditions, and structured project planning, the municipality aims to enhance its attractiveness, increase visitor numbers, and stimulate local economic growth. With the official adoption of the Tourism Action Plan 2023–2027, Vogošća has established a clear strategic framework for tourism development, creating a foundation for systematic investment, partnership building, and sustainable long-term growth.
